If I schedule a consult for design help -will you provide vendors I can shop from if you suggest certain furnishings?
When we do just a consult I will give you suggestions on what to do with your space and vendors that may suit you, I will not give you direct links to direct products unless we pull the trigger on me completing your space!
Is there too small of a project?
HECK NO! Sometimes the right pillows or redoing a chair is all you need to complete a space. In these scenarios you can text me pics of what you need and I can create or recreate a product for you at 20% on top of cost of product.
Do you manage the projects?
I can act as a contractor to any project you decide to do. I have a great team of contractors that can paint, wallpaper, electricians, drywall etc. If you want me to spearhead those builder tasks I am your girl. You will be charged their fee for service + 20%.
You do custom furniture?
YES! Need a headboard, a bench or console table? One Modern Furniture (my sister company, meaning I run it with a bad ass chick who is kinda like a sister) can make anything, or most anything. Custom pieces are our favorite, and it further ensures you won’t see the same pillow or couch as everyone else who walks into West Elm!
If I hire you to do a room, a nursery for example, what exactly is included in your flat room design fee?
Well, EVERYTHING — I will suggest all products, colors, lighting, flooring etc. Depending on your budget I can source whatever you need. CUSTOM products (the build of table or a couch etc) will be cost + 20% but if we find the perfect rug on Anthropologie you can purchase directly through the links I provide at no additional cost.
I’m scared of color, you the right girl for me?
I love color, no doubt, but I also love pattern, symmetry and comfort. There is no such thing as a colorless room but I can work within the parameters of your style. Even a black and white room can blow your mind… or ease your mind, whatever suits your fancy.
I have a lot of opinions and want to feel like I had a large hand in the project, will that be an issue?
YES. Joking… I have a lot of opinions too which is why I’ve always understood that you can have as much involvement or as little involvement as you’d like. Some people don’t care and trust my gut, others want 4-6 choices (or more) and go from there step by step. I am flexible and getting to know you and your style is part of the fun!
