GUILFORD HOME

As I've said a million times, I don't believe in timelessness or minimalism — I want my home to feel FULL of the time that we are in, to feel current and stylish. I want my rooms to feel like an artful, comfortable, colorful wonderland where risks are taken but everyone feels safe and comfortable everywhere. We entertain a lot, so each room provides spaces for one to have a glass of wine, or take a nap (or maybe both). The biggest compliment I receive is that good friends say they are also discovering new design elements or art pieces every new time they come over. Every room may not be a place they'd want themselves but they certainly know its me and my family. That is the goal in my design, to make a room identify as YOU. HOMES have personalities, we need to respect that relationship between the home owner and the home itself.
